Car Insurance and Frequency of Use
If you want to acquire cheap car insurance, it becomes very important to point out items to the car insurance provider that they may be completely unaware of. For example, let’s say you work in walking distance from your home. You car never leaves its driveway 5 days out of the week. Additionally, you do not park in the street. Your car is safely confined in a garage. Yet, you never bring these facts to the attention to your car insurance provider. As a result, the car insurance provider assumes that you car is on the road significantly more than it actually is. As a result, you end up paying far more for your car insurance than what is necessary. However, had you told them that you only drive your car sparingly then you would have probably been able to acquire a cheap car insurance policy. Granted, this may not be the case with every provider but it is definitely worth letting them know what your current situation is. Often, we do not think of this and we end up paying more on car insurance than is necessary. So, if you are looking for cheap car insurance you should let the provider know exactly what your current driving situation is. Again, you should never pay more for car insurance than you have to!
