While many rental car companies are doing away with the gas option on rental car leases, there are still a few out there that are keeping that option for their customers. The gas option on rental cars gives the driver the chance to return the car empty without any penalty. This is a great choice for those who plan on driving the car a lot because they will not have to pay the huge gas prices to fill the car up at the end of the rental lease.
If your rental car company does not offer this option, see if they can upgrade your rental to a hybrid car and save some green while driving green.
